The Swedish NFB Sailing Certificate (Seglarintyg) is the national standard for recreational sailing education. Sailstar is an NFB-certified school.
The NFB Sailing Certificates are a nationally recognised system for documenting your sailing skills. They are issued by the Swedish Boating Association (Båtunionen) through certified schools like Sailstar.
Basic knowledge of sailing and safety. Achieved through our basic courses (dinghy, day sailor or large yacht). Online theory course at SvenskBåtskola.se also required.
More advanced skills on a family cruiser (Nordic Family Boat). Requires SC 1 and the theory certificate Förarintyg. Achieved through our 2-day progression course.
Advanced offshore sailing. Requires SC 2. Achieved through our large yacht level 3 course or the advanced course in Greece.
Start with one of our basic courses to earn Sailing Certificate 1. Then continue with progression courses towards SC 2 and 3. Our instructors will guide you every step of the way.
